Leftover Faith
I'm grateful Jesus doesn't demand I have it all together. In Mark chapter 9 there is a large crowd gathered around debating as Jesus steps on the scene. During the chaos one man comes forward with his son who had been possessed for many years. Having nearly given up all hope, Jesus says to the father of the boy, "all things are possible to him that believeth." In one of the most honest accounts in all of scripture, the man replies with tears in his eyes, "Lord, I believe, but help thou mine unbelief."
You know, I'd rather have all of Jesus with some doubts than have full confidence in myself and live without Christ. Be blessed today knowing that Jesus can still do the unthinkable with even the smallest amount of leftover faith.
